Please could you tell me more about Higher Education (Fast Track HC/D) on any the courses listed? What is the equivalent in Nigerian context, and what is the basic academic requirement that qualifies one for entry.
|
The HNC is equivalent to Nigerian OND
while the HND is equivalent to Nigerian HND. Someone with an existing
OND could be admitted to HNC or HND class depending on their result and
relevance of previous course; same for the HND. The HND from Stevenson
College will increase the chance of the candidate to get to the year
three of a related University degree course (Hence saving University
tuition fee for two years. The University fee for each year is double of
the college fee) for most Nigerian coming to Edinburgh a college may be
an easier way to adapt to UK education system prior to entering the
University at year two (for HNC) or year three (for HND) candidate. At MaxMe we coach our candidates to get the best effective and economical education in Edinburgh, so I will work with them all the way through the transition periods including college to University and University first degree to post graduate or working. |
